This course is for local, national, and international humanitarian staff involved in preparing for and taking charge of in-country operational programmes in humanitarian responses. This course is for individuals who wish to learn more about advocacy in humanitarian settings.

Advocacy is the deliberate process of influencing those who make decisions about developing, changing and implementing policies. This course explores how to communicate with the media in an emergency to advocate/promote your organisation and their guiding principles.
