Welcome to A step-by-step journey into supply chain planning!

Supply chain planning is the process of organising, coordinating and optimising the flow of goods or services to effectively and efficiently meet a demand. Encompassing strategic, tactical and operational activities, supply chain planning addresses both demand planning and supply planning, including procurement, transport and storage planning. In the humanitarian and development sector, this comprehensive approach starts from the identification of the need and extends to the final delivery to the people affected by crisis. Driven by a set of processes and good practices, supply chain planning places a strong emphasis on collaboration. Its core objective is indeed to facilitate cross-functional decision-making and ensure operations run as effectively, efficiently, and sustainably as possible.

This 3 hour course will enable you to explore and understand the fundamental concepts of supply chain planning and the different steps involved in this important process.

This course was developed by Save the Children International and HELP Logistics with support from Amazon.
