This course is primarily designed for child protection practitioners. It may also benefit coordinators, technical advisors from various sectors, and individuals in roles involving advocacy, communications and fundraising in humanitarian settings.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
  • Explain the unique vulnerabilities of children and the need to prioritise their protection during infectious disease outbreaks in humanitarian settings
  • Describe how to develop key messages to undertake effective advocacy for children and their protection during outbreaks in humanitarian settings
