It’s extremely important that a process is in place for the recruitment of new employees, and that this process is followed closely. A procedural framework will help to ensure equality of opportunity, general fairness, best practice and legislative adherence. This suite of two modules explores the recruitment and selection process, including all required actions and the main dos and don'ts.

By the end of this course the learner will be equipped to follow a best-practice recruitment process with confidence, from the initial stages of the post becoming vacant to making the offer of employment and managing the induction process. We demonstrate how to go about advertising the post, and cover the shortlisting phase and the interview stage in detail.
