Welcome to the Managing Recruitment course.
This online course will help you to develop an understanding and ability to manage recruitment. We'll demonstrate how human resource planning works in a business environment, and show managers how to plan and implement recruitment in line with legal and organisational requirements.
At the end of the course, you will understand the importance of HR planning, including the areas of forecasting demand, succession planning, staff retention, reward systems and managing redundancies.  You will learn about the legal framework that governs recruitment and will understand how to execute a best-practice approach to each practical step of the process - from analysing the job requirements to advertising the position. You will learn how to analyse applications and conduct interviews, and how to select the most appropriate candidate.
