This module explores a select number of monitoring and evaluation planning tools that can be used to create and implement a strong project MEAL system.

FIELD is a ground-breaking, free capacity building programme. FIELD’s focus is to develop the pool of local, national, and international staff who can prepare for and take charge of in-country operational programmes in humanitarian responses.

This module explains and explores some common tools and templates used for MEAL planning, including the MEAL Plan, the Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT) and the Data Flow Map.
