  • This is half day face to face course. Please note this course was also used as the core source material for the CaLP e-learning on Urban CTP & Livelihoods which is an online, self-directed e-learning course. You will need to register on Kaya to access the course, along with other CaLP online material. The online course takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

  • By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

     

    Understand the basic concepts of livelihoods programming including terminology, and the importance of cash transfers as a tool to achieve livelihoods objectives.

    Be aware of the different ways in which cash can be used to achieve different objectives in livelihoods programming.

    Be able to cite key lessons learned, including key issues and challenges, of using CTP for achieving livelihoods objectives.

    Be better able to incorporate CTP into livelihoods programming.
