We have launched a new webinar series that aims to provide in-depth contextualisation of key issues within the humanitarian sector. The webinars will feature presentations from speakers who are experts in their field, and Q&As led by the learners that participate. They will then be made available on Kaya for learners to revisit.
Held in July 2017, the first webinar in the series was about Health and Nutrition in Emergencies - lessons learnt. Expert speakers Alexandra Rutishauser-Perera (Head of Nutrition, Action Against Hunger UK) and Nada Abdelmagid (Epidemiologist and Humanitarian Health Professional) talked about the key nutritional and health issues to consider during an emergency and shared some key lessons learnt and practical advice that could be used for current crises such as Yemen and Syria. Over 300 people attended the webinar and were given the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session.
We hope you enjoy the webinar!
