In this 45-minute course, you will learn the 7 core HDP coherence principles established by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) alongside examples of the principles in action.
After completing this course, you will:
- understand the importance of HDP coherence and its principles;
- possess clear examples of HDP coherence in practice; and
- understand how to apply HDP coherence principles in your own work.
Is this course for me? This course is designed to support implementers of humanitarian or devolvement projects who want to better understand HDP coherence and how it
has been applied in practice. This course is open to all implementers working
on donor-funded projects, but staff of USAID-funded activities will find it
especially useful.
How will I benefit from this course? After completing this course, learners can expect to understand USAID's 7 HDP coherence principles for programming, learn how implementers across the globe are applying these principles in their own work, and test their newfound knowledge.
