Welcome to STOP COVID-19 : Essentials for the prevention and control of the virus

The objective of this training is to provide epidemic response teams with clear information about the virus and its effects, as well as very practical resources to support community-based interventions. 

This course is also available in French and Arabic.

	Is this course for me?
	This training is intended for the great diversity of public and private actors, who are in contact with local communities, to contribute to the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.It is not intended for health care workers who provide treatment for infected people.
	How will I benefit from this course?
	During this course you will look at: The Covid-19 virus: nature, origin, symptoms, severity, populations at risk. Modes of transmission. Preventive measures (protecting oneself and others) and transmission contexts. Practical and collective prevention measures at community level. Additional information and materials for the implementation of preventive measures.
	How long will it take?
	This course should take you around 2 to 3 hours to complete the course to complete.
