This Operations Management module is part of HOP Fundamentals, an open-access, self-paced catalogue of quality assured and interactive learning modules, curated by partner providers or created by Save the Children. It is one of three levels of the HOP. 


Fundamentals is aimed at people beginning their career in the humanitarian sector or for those transitioning from the development sector. It is also aimed at individuals who have never received formal training on the essentials of humanitarian action, or for those wishing to ‘refresh’ their knowledge. 


Fundamentals has been carefully designed to provide a streamlined learning journey which covers the key topics related to the delivery of quality emergency responses.

How will I benefit from this module?


This module is targeted towards people wishing to learn the fundamentals of a humanitarian response and explores the different response phases, the different operational components required to run an effective response and the requirements for how each component supports or depends on others.
