Welcome to Introduction to the Minimum Standards for Camp Management (MSCM) online course
This self-paced module provides an Introduction to the Minimum Standards and explains how people and organisations supporting displaced populations can use the Minimum Standards to improve the quality of the assistance they provide.

Is this course for me? This module is aimed at anyone who is working or volunteering with displaced people and would like to improve their understanding of the minimum standards for displacement sites.

How will I benefit from this course? On completion of this course you will:
- Describe what the Minimum Standards for Camp Management are and how they are informed by the Humanitarian Charter and humanitarian principles,
- Explain what the purpose and intended impact of the Minimum Standards for Camp Management are and why they were developed,
- Explain where the Minimum Standards in Camp Management apply and who they are aimed at,
- Describe key concepts in displacement site management,
- Describe the core content of the Minimum Standards,
- Explain how the standards are structured and the purpose of the key actions, indicators and guidance notes,
- Explain how the Minimum Standards for Camp Management can be used by people responding to the Ukraine humanitarian crises to improve the quality of the assistance and protection provided.
- List where to find additional support on implementing the Minimum Standards.

How long will it take? This course should take you around 45 minutes’ duration online module that you can complete at your own pace.

Will I get a certificate at the end? Yes - you will be able to download a certificate once you have have completed all of the modules within the course.
