This course introduces the Sphere Unpacked Guide: NbS for Climate Resilience in Humanitarian Action and explains how people and organisations responding to humanitarian crises can use the guide.

Is this course for me?
This module is aimed at people who are working in humanitarian contexts, including for local, national and international NGOs or authorities, who have little or no prior knowledge or experience of NbS or how they can be integrated into humanitarian action. It is also relevant for people in headquarters roles or for people who are responsible for inter-agency humanitarian coordination and high-level strategy.

How will I benefit from this course? On completion of this course you will be able to:
- Explain the connections between climate change and humanitarian crises,
- Describe what NbS are and the role they play in humanitarian action,
- Identify ways to integrate NbS into humanitarian action to improve outcomes for human well-being and environmental protection,
- Reflect on your own experiences relating to humanitarian action and climate change and identify actions you can take after completing the module.

How long will it take? This course should take you around 60 - 90 minutes to complete.

Will I get a certificate at the end? Yes - you will be able to download a certificate once you have have completed all of the modules within the course.
