The LEGS Core Training Refresher course is aimed at livestock and humanitarian practitioners who have attended a 3-day LEGS training course and have been applying the LEGS approach in their country or region. It provides a rapid and practical recap for applying the LEGS Handbook and tools in emergency situations. It assumes a working knowledge of disaster management, disaster risk reduction and a livelihoods approach.
How will I benefit from this course? On completion of this course you will:
- Explain the importance and impact of LEGS for livestock-based livelihoods interventions.
- Describe key elements of the LEGS Handbook and the LEGS approach.
- Reflect on good practices and challenges from experiences of using LEGS approach in response.
How long will it take? This course should take you around one hour to complete.
How much does it cost? This course is free!
Will I get a certificate at the end? Yes - you will be able to download a certificate once you have have completed all of the modules within the course.
