Welcome to the Child protection in conflict settings course. This mid-level online course will develop your knowledge of good practice child protection, with a particular focus on conflict settings.

This course is designed for practitioners who have an existing knowledge of child protection in emergencies.  If you are new to child protection in emergencies, please seek out introductory resources, such as this course from UNICEF, before taking this module.

How will I benefit from this course?

This course has been designed to help you make a difference to children affected by conflict, by providing you with the tools, resources and knowledge to better analyse child protection risks and concerns, as well as to strengthen your decision making in emergencies. Using four different scenarios, each covering a different aspect of child protection, you will be asked to make choices and decisions in the best interests of the child. This course will cover sexual violence, recruitment, separation of children.

Will I get a certificate at the end?
 Yes! You will be able to download a certificate after you have completed all the modules and the feedback form. There is an assessment at the end of the course, and you need at least 80% to pass.  This assessment can be taken as many times as you like,
