Warehouse Management in Action
Welcome to Warehouse Management in Action!
Warehouse management is the process that relates to the setting up and management of local, country, regional and global storage facilities. This course would also include inventory management. Inventory management is about properly managing inventory, in appropriate facilities, from their receipt until their intended final point of distribution. It is an integral part of the programme’s supply chain; poor inventory management will affect the programme’s ability to operate in a timely and efficient manner thereby preventing it from meeting commitments to both beneficiaries and donors.
This 2-hour course will enable you to explore and understand the fundamental concepts of warehouse management including warehousing strategy, warehouse operations (inbound & outbound) and specialty warehousing for specialist commodities.
This course is brought to you by Save the Children International and Humanitarian Leadership Academy, with support from Amazon.
