This Age, Gender and Inclusion online course is for anyone who wants to learn how age, gender and other intersecting factors shape people's experiences of ageing.

The course provides logical guidance and tools to help civil society organisations (including INGOs, NGOs and community-based organisations) work confidently with older people in all their diversity. It supports participants in placing age, gender, and inclusion at the heart of their programming and advocacy, and in promoting the meaningful participation and inclusion of older people.

• What will I learn?

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Explain how age, gender and other intersecting factors influence people's experiences of ageing.
• Identify barriers that limit the inclusion, participation, and rights of older people.
• Apply intersectional, rights-based, gender-responsive/transformative approaches to support the inclusion of older people.
• Conduct a gender analysis that incorporates ageing and intersectional inclusion perspectives.
• Design, deliver and monitor programmes that mainstream gender equality, participation, and inclusion throughout the programme cycle.
