This online course offers a structured, modular design that enables learners to engage at their own pace. Each module addresses a vital component of DiDRR, ranging from understanding the unique risks faced by persons with disabilities during disasters to developing strategies for their full participation in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.

One of the course's standout features is its scenario-based learning approach, which brings to life real-world challenges and opportunities in DiDRR. Through interactive exercises and practical case studies, participants can apply what they learn to realistic situations, gaining skills they can implement in their communities and workplaces.

The course is tailored for a wide range of audiences, including government officials, DRR practitioners, policymakers, representatives from Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), civil society organizations, NGOs, community leaders, students, and researchers. It equips learners with the tools to break down barriers to inclusion, address specific needs, and advocate for the active involvement of persons with disabilities in disaster management efforts.
