We all have a role to play ensure that we leave no one behind and make our organisations and services inclusive for people with disabilities. These modules will help you to increase your knowledge on how to make your work more inclusive of people with disabilities and introduce you to a range of tools and resources developed by Leonard Cheshire.
There are seven modules:
- Module 1: Introduction to disability inclusion
- Module 2: Accessible Communications
- Module 3: Partnerships with Organisations of Persons with Disabilities
- Module 4: Partnership Project Cycle
- Module 5: Community Engagement Workshops
- Module 6: Safeguarding and Informed Consent for clients with intellectual and sensory disabilities: Terminology, theory and key concepts
- Module 7: Safeguarding and informed consent for clients with intellectual and sensory disabilities: practical advice
Each module will take around 20 minutes to complete and includes a short multiple choice quiz to test your knowledge. You will also find links to additional resources that you can use to put what you have learnt in the module into action.
