Welcome to Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies during Infectious Disease Outbreaks.

	Is this course for me? This course is designed for health and nutrition program managers, technical advisors, and clinical managers working in humanitarian settings.
	How will I benefit from this course? By the end of this course, learners will be able to: Explain how an infectious disease outbreak can impact IYCF practices in humanitarian settings  Describe how organizations can lessen the impacts of outbreaks on recommended IYCF practices through proper preparedness planning  Describe the recommended temporary feeding alternatives that can be used if breastfeeding is interrupted during an outbreak  Summarize how to protect, promote, and support recommended IYCF practices in humanitarian settings during an infectious disease outbreak using a multi-sectoral approach
