Impact Evaluation 101
Welcome to Impact Evaluation Fundamentals!
In this 1-hour course, you will learn the fundamentals of impact evaluation and explore how it fits into the broader monitoring and evaluation (M&E) landscape. You'll learn to define and identify valid counterfactuals and discover different categories of impact evaluation designs as well as gain valuable insights that will help you navigate the complexities of impact evaluation in humanitarian contexts. Whether you're new to impact evaluation or looking to refresh your knowledge, this course will provide you with a strong foundation to support evidence-based decision making in humanitarian programs. This course is the first in a two-part series developed by The Humanitarian Assistance Evidence Cycle (HAEC).
