It’s important to build trust and reinforce strengths with colleagues and employees by providing
constructive feedback. While feedback is a vital development tool, it is critical that the
recipients of feedback trust that you are working for their best
interests. Offering feedback is best when it is in the spirit of development and not punishment. Be
sure your own motivation is constructive. In this course you will learn the barriers to effective feedback, and the tools and skills to overcome them.
This module is suitable for managers and leaders at all levels. It was developed by UNHCR for their own staff, and so references UNHCR policies.
