Welcome to Safeguarding in EiE

This unit is part of the full Education in Emergencies (EiE) Online Course. It outlines how education in emergencies programmes can avoid exposing children to further harm and create a safe learning environment where children are free from abuse, exploitation, and neglect through child safeguarding measures.

 Is this course for me?
This course is primarily designed for education in emergencies (EiE) or education practitioners to ensure they have a good understanding of what child safeguarding is and how to put effective measures in place to keep children safe from harm. It may also serve as a useful resource for those working in other sectors but wanting to improve their understanding of and ability to mainstream child safeguarding into their work. This unit connects with other EiE Online units but can also be used as a standalone piece of learning.
