Welcome to the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse course! 
In this 1-hour course (developed jointly by UNFPA, UN WOMEN, UNICEF, UNDP and UNHCR), you will gain greater awareness of how acts of sexual exploitation and abuse impact individuals and whole communities as well as what to do when it occurs. You will learn how to combat and prevent sexual exploitation and abuse as well as the responsibilities associated with reporting allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse.

  • Identify obligations of UN personnel and ways of reporting of sexual exploitation and abuse
  • Identify consequences of breaching the UN standards of conduct on sexual exploitation and abuse
  • Identify specific responsibilities and accountabilities of managers in addressing sexual exploitation and abuse
