Welcome to the Philippine Volunteer Essentials (PVE) pathway. PVE is composed of three video-based courses and an immersive film that cover essential topics that a new Filipino volunteer who participates in humanitarian work needs to know, including the Philippines disaster risk profile, culture and social factors, and volunteerism in relation to current humanitarian system and standards as well as volunteer safety, security and wellness.
Have you taken the separate courses before? No need to repeat them! This pathway reflects your progress on the previously released PVE courses.
Is this pathway for me? This pathway is designed with Filipino volunteers in mind—students, youth, professionals, retirees, residents—who wish to help out their fellowmen who were affected by disasters. Organizations will also find the course useful in ensuring that the volunteers they are recruiting are ready, able and well-equipped for their task or deployment.
How will I benefit from this pathway? On completion of this pathway you will be able to:

Will I get a certificate at the end? Yes! You will be able to download a certificate once you have have completed all of the modules within the course.
