This self-guided course will build your understanding on the wellbeing of old people and people with disabilities before, within and after any humanitarian intervention.

The course is for HelpAge International staff, network members, local partners and humanitarian actors. It is a self-guided and self-paced online course.

  1. needs, capacities and rights of older people and people with disabilities, 
  2. meaningful participation of older people and people with disabilities,
  3. successes and challenges in promoting an inclusive approach,
  4. Humanitarian Inclusion Standards (HIS) for older people and people with disabilities, &
  5. change for inclusive organisations.

How long will it take?
 
The course takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, and it is divided into 3 units.
