Support to volunteers is one of the commitments of the Core Humanitarian Standard. This is in recognition of your contribution to the huge responsibility of delivering help to those in need. It presents how you should look after your safety, security and wellness and how your host organisation should support you.

This is the third course under the Philippine Volunteer Essentials (PVE) pathway that also comes with courses on disaster risk and volunteerism, humanitarian system , principles and standards.

Is this course for me?
This course is designed with Filipino volunteers in mind—students, youth, professionals, retirees, residents—who wish to help out their fellowmen who were affected by disasters. Organizations will also find the course useful in ensuring that the volunteers they are recruiting are ready, able and well-equipped for their task or deployment.
