This platform, available only to Save the Children staff, displays free, remote, self-guided trainings that help staff to develop professionally within the areas of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL).
Trainings are a mix of internally and externally produced resources that range from e-courses with interactive storyboards and quizzes, to PowerPoint presentations that you can scroll through and also use for your own training facilitation, to more observational video recordings of webinar trainings.
Trainings are organised based on which of the ten "competencies" within the MEAL Technical Competency Framework (as shown on page 13-18 here) they most underpin, with several additions displayed under "Crosscutting", such as ethics, specific software, among others. Many courses also list the skills from our "Skills Map of MEAL Technical Staff" that they most support. Select the competency you are interested in below to get started!
To find out more about how you can strengthen your MEAL skills and career prospects, visit the MEAL Professional Development page on OneNet.
