It was developed by the Humanitarian Leadership Academy in collaboration with BODYSWAPS®, an immersive learning platform, alongside leading safeguarding professionals/experts from across the sector.

The primary audience for Safeguarding VR is staff, of any level or role, from the humanitarian and development sector but is relevant to all organisations where safeguarding issues are a concern.

On completion of this course you will:

  • Understand what safeguarding is and its relevance in organizations. 
  • Practice in a safe environment best practices while receiving a disclosure of a safeguarding incident.
  • Practice soft skills, like active listening and empathy in a safe environment.
