This one-hour session aims at exploring challenges and dilemmas involved in translating the humanitarian principles into operational decisions. It delineates the practical implications of the principles for humanitarian actors, and highlights the central role of principles in interaction with government, military and other actors. It also emphases the interrelationship among the four principles.

It is part of a learning series about the humanitarian principles by the Professionals in Humanitarian Assistance and Protection (PHAP). You can find the other sessions under PHAP learning resources on Kaya catalogue.
