About this programme

Throughout the Transformation of Training (ToT) programme, participants develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver training in a humanitarian context. 

The ToT aims to build a global pool of highly skilled facilitators who will be able to deliver quality humanitarian training to strengthen capacity at the regional, national and local level.

The ToT programme has 3 levels:

  1. Foundation
  2. Professional
  3. Advanced

This site represents content and instructions for the Foundation level.

Who is the ToT for?

Capacity strengthening designed with and for the regions most affected by disasters is critical to saving both time and money in an emergency. Therefore, priority will be given as follows:

  • National/local humanitarian/development actors* situated in regions most affected by disasters, who deliver or will be delivering training for emergency & disaster response and/or capacity strengthening initiatives in the humanitarian sector
  • International staff working in emergency & disaster response and/or capacity strengthening programmes in the humanitarian sector
  • Staff who deliver capacity strengthening programmes in the humanitarian sector
*This can include, but is not limited to local government, local community leaders and independents, who are involved in capacity strengthening.

To be able to attend the course, please get your line manager to fill in the nomination form.
